On the 17th April 2023, Ernest Opticians will join forces with our friends at Monnow Eyecare to create Monmouth’s premium eyewear and eyecare destination.

Together, we’re proud to bring you the best of both worlds - Monnow Eyecare has 15+ years of offering the best possible standard of patient eye care in a friendly, professional environment and the attention to detail you’ve come to love at Ernest and now, into our centre of eye care excellence in the only Independent Optician in Monmouth.

At our new location, our friendly team, including Lydia Smith Optometrist and Tina Powles Optical Assistant, will be there to welcome you and make sure you feel right at home.

All patient records, including contact lens details and supply, have been securely transferred to our new address at 11 Cinderhill Street, Monmouth, NP25 5EY, right next to the Riverside Hotel.
